Church of Santa Caterina
Descrizione

Originally dedicated to the Holy Ghost, the church of St Catherine was rebuilt during the second half of the twentieth century and consecrated in 1969.
The church still maintains its stone Renaissance-style portal, its rich stuccoes and marble altar. St. Catherine’s is the village’s parish church so it is here that the main weekly religious services are celebrated.
During the days when St. Leo is celebrated, an effigy of the saint is hosted in the Church of St. Catherine, before being borne back in procession to its own church when the celebrations end.
