Church of San Nicola
Descrizione
The little church of San Nicola, recently restored despite the fact that the town itself is uninhabited, is an unassuming, sacred place that retains its rustic style. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why it is so unique and cherished.
Inside, on the lovely altar stands a cross made from twigs.
Visited by pilgrims and those fond of Roghudi’s unique atmosphere, this church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, stands on the square of this hamlet washed by the Amendolea River.
